How the competition works:

  *   All bands will have the same amount of time to perform.
  *   Order of bands will be assigned based on tech needs/transitions.
  *   Attendees who wish to vote must be present in Common Ground by the time the first band begins (approx. 8:30pm)
  *   Attendees who wish to vote must be present at the END of the competition to submit their votes. Voting will open at the conclusion of the last band's final song.
  *   Additional details on the voting process will be explained on site.

If you have attended this event in the past, you know that we have more people who want to attend than can fit in the venue. For better or worse, Common Ground remains the largest space we have access to on campus to host this event - so we anticipate reaching capacity again. If you don't like that, complain to the administration about the lack of large event spaces on this campus.

To try and manage the crowd and attendance as much as possible, we are releasing 250 "tickets" to this event at 6PM on TUESDAY, April 23 on Dartmouth Groups<https://cglink.me/2ob/r1611022>. This registration is your "fast pass" into the event. HOWEVER, it will only be valid from when the doors open (8:00pm) until 8:15pm. At 8:15, all remaining tickets will be void, and we will allow remaining guests to enter from the standby line until room capacity (~300) is reached.

If you do not get a ticket, you are welcome to show up on the day of the event and join the standby line. Last year we admitted many attendees from the standby line.
