Charles Wheelan is the author of Naked Economics: Undressing the Dismal Science.  He is a professor of public policy at the University of Chicago and was a Midwest correspondent for The Economist.  His self-described goal is to make economics accessible, comprehensible and appealing to the interested person.  He is currently teaching Public Policy 40. Wheelan holds a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Chicago, and a Master's in Public Affairs from Princeton University.  He was an undergraduate at Dartmouth College, Class of '88, where he was a member of Alpha Delta fraternity.
