Hey guys- So with the upcoming election we thought we would have a political topic this week: the role of the media in US politics and public opinion.

Come on - we know that half of you all think Bill O'Reiley is the reincarnate of the Devil while the other half of you think Rachel Maddow is a brainwasher... COME DEBATE WHOSE RIGHT!!

Other, more serious questions to consider:

Are there media outlets that aren't inherrently bias?

Do comedians have actual sway over public opinion (think Tina Fey's Sarah Palin)?

What role does the internet/bloggers play in changing the face of media/how Americans get their news?
