Dear students,

Here’s the info on today’s PEP event:

Joseph Heath (Univ. of Toronto), Capitalism: Critique or Kvetch? Thursday February 29 at 4:30 pm. Rocky 1.

[cid:a1c5bb42-4f91-4f37-bf85-009b96ab9fe3]

Heath is one of the most prolific, entertaining, and independent-minded political theorists and economic philosophers of our time. Author of popular works such as The Rebel Sell: Why the Culture Can’t Be Jammed (2005) and Filthy Lucre: Economics for People Who Hate Capitalism (2009), as well as philosophical works such as Philosophical Foundations of Climate Change Policy (2021), Heath turns his attention in this talk to the current quality of anti-capitalist criticism.
