Wheeler 2nd Floor Common Room
Dinner with Professor Michelle Clarke

Michelle Clarke received her PhD from Yale University in 2007. Her research focuses on the history of republican political thought, especially debates about the meaning of liberty in Renaissance Italy. Her first book, Machiavelli's Florentine Republic, is forthcoming with Cambridge University Press. Her work has also appeared in the Journal of Politics, History of Political Thought, Review of Politics, Political Studies, and Political Research Quarterly.

Come discuss: Why does everyone think democracy is so great?
