The Latin American Political Society Proudly Presents:

Mexican Vigilantes: Heroes or Villains?

[Inline image 1]

The last couple of months of the Mexican Drug War have witnessed an unprecedented rise in local self-defense militias. Is this an effective solution in light of Mexico's inadequate military and corrupt local police? Does the existence of such groups threaten the state's legitimacy and rule of law?

If these questions interest you, come to Sarner 69 (right next to FoCo) this Tuesday at 7:00pm.

The Presentation and Discussion will be accompanied with Free Tamales.

We hope to see you there!
