PAC End of Term Dinner
Tuesday, November 17th
6pm - 7:30pm
Brace Commons

Join the Pan Asian Council for our termly community dinner, with speaker Yvonne Kwan<http://dartmouth.us9.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=eca9a81ff0ca1897c229155b6&id=d61f927c2d&e=40bba0d702>, Ph.D.

Kwan is one of the five inaugural members of the Society of Fellows. Her dissertation, "Encountering Memory and Trauma: Transgenerational Transmission of Trauma in Cambodian Americans," explored the ways in which trauma and violent histories were transmitted from one generation to the next, "particularly via affect and the older generation's use of narrative fragments, caesuras, and/or silences," she says. At Dartmouth, she plans to continue her exploration of the influence of transnational legal and racial politics on the mental health and education of disadvantaged groups.
