Are you really busy this term? Wondering how to get those readings
done and still have time to swim in the river? Anxious about making
the leap to upper-level classes next year?
Come to "Speed Reading + Improving Learning," the first workshop of
the Success Strategies for Sophomores series presented by the Academic
Skills Center! Like each of these workshops, the first half will be
focused on SPEED READING practice and tips, and the second will
explore a particular area of academic success.
Improving Learning: Sophomore Summer is an important transition
period as you leave those introductory lecture classes behind and
prepare for upper-level seminars. This first Success Strategies for
Sophomores workshop will provide you with strategies to improve your
learning skills, help you become a more efficient and effective
learner, and prepare you for the academic transition to being an
upperclassman.
