The digital lab in the Black Family Visual Arts Center is holding two digital art program workshops this week.  Blitz [log in to unmask] to sign up for either:
Monday 10/7 2-3 PM  -  Introduction to Lightroom

Learn how to use Lightroom - a photo database and editing program that is simple to use, extremely powerful, and, best of all, pretty cheap (and available in the lab).  I'll walk you through how to import photos, organize your collections of photographs, do basic photo editing, and export your work.



Wednesday 10/9 2-3 PM  -  Making A Lyric Music Video Animation in After Effects

After Effects is a powerful motion graphics, compositing, and animation software program. Participants will learn how to use After Effects by creating a simple shapes and text animation to go along with your favorite song.  Suitable for beginners.

Do you come up with ideas for music video when you listen to songs?  This Monday is the second installment of MUSIC VIDEO MONDAY - a weekly event for music video enthusiasts combining music video ideation and trivia. Bring your friends and compete to be crowned the music video masters of the week.  MUSIC VIDEO MONDAY is 7-8 on Monday night in the digital lab (the big room with glass walls on the first floor of the BFVAC).  All are welcome.
