Collegiate Academies is a network of three open enrollment charter high schools in New Orleans. Sci Academy is seeking an intern to work on the College Success Team, assisting first-generation and low-income college students gain access to resources for college access and success. Friends of Rockaway was founded in response to the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy on the Rockaway Peninsula. The International Rescue Committee has offices all over the United States that work to support refugees settling in to communities and preparing for the US job market. Past DPCS Interns have worked in areas of economic empowerment, English-language training for youth, and more.

Boston Center for Refugee Health & Human Rights -- Boston, MA
BCRHHR works with survivors of torture and refugee communities from around the world to provide holistic healthcare. Past DPCS Interns have worked here as patient navigators, assisting with in-take processes and working one-on-one with clients to navigate the healthcare system in Boston.
