The Collis Center for Student Involvement is accepting applications for the MEMBERS of the 2018 Orientation Team!


In this role, you have the great opportunity and responsibility of welcoming and supporting over a thousand first-year students in their first and most formative weeks at Dartmouth.  This position is an opportunity to represent Dartmouth and share your experiences to best support the newest members of our community. You will gain valuable experience executing programs and events for the ‘22s, and we think you’ll have a great time doing it!




ORIENTATION TEAM MEMBER



Compensation

Orientation Team Members will receive a $300 stipend for their service as well as meals during the Pre-Orientation & Orientation period.



Hours

During the period of Pre-Orientation & Orientation, Orientation Team Members are expected to have focus on this role as their sole commitment and obligation.  Hours during this period vary, but often include full days as well as evening hours.



Expectations

·       Applicants must be in Hanover for full Pre-Orientation/Orientation period (Aug. 30-Sept. 12)

·       Applicants must uphold a substance-free expectation for the period of Pre-Orientation/Orientation
