Dartmouth Students,

Over the past few weeks, leaders from the Gender-Inclusive Greek Council, the Inter-Fraternity Council, and the Panhellenic Council came together to create a set of recommendations on how to improve the Dartmouth Greek system.  Our objective was to generate recommendations that address the issues facing our community while allowing Greek houses to maintain the qualities that make them  special to us and unique among our peer institutions.

We respect and appreciate the efforts put forward by the Moving Dartmouth Forward Presidential Steering Committee, but we feel that the voice of the Greek system has not been adequately heard by the committee and by the administration.  Our hope is that the recommendations put forward in The Greek Proposal will have strong support from the student body and will more accurately address the problems facing the Dartmouth social scene.
