Mission of WPE: The mission of World Partners in Education (WPE) is to improve the quality of and expand access to education in under-served areas that empowers people and communities for the future while respecting the local culture and history. To achieve this mission we will partner with educational organizations to pursue locally supported goals, monitor long-term outcomes, and connect communities with needed resources. World Partners in Education works to make targeted gains in educational delivery and student achievement within our partner communities. We send year-long consultants and quarterly volunteers to work with our local communities and put their best ideas into action to improve their schools. Our focus is on effecting second-order change through research-based interventions chosen with the guidance of the local stakeholders and allies. Ultimately, our goal is to achieve transformation in the school community and ensure that our support is no longer needed.
