Hi Everyone,

Dartmouth Humanitarian Engineering (DHE) will be having its FIRST meeting of the term TODAY (yes, Tuesday 9/13) at 8:00pm in Zaleski MB01 (see directions below).

For Those Who Have NEVER Been to DHE: There is NO experience necessary... at all! WE WANT YOU TO COME! We are a student group in Thayer that designs solutions to humanitarian issues, like hydro-power sites in Rwanda and water purification in Nepal. Sounds difficult? It's not when were prototyping with K'NEX and small gears! Come hear more about how you can help us make a prototype TODAY for our current project. Come learn how you can be trained in Thayer instrument rooms through DHE. Come to learn how you can take OUR MONEY to make YOUR HUMANITARIAN PROJECT (See the attachment). Come to just say hi and ask us about that third class you still need to sign up for.

For Those Who Have Been to DHE: Same Time, Same Place, New Direction. We have some exciting new improvements, including hands-on design at general meetings and even the FIRST ANNUAL DHE Pitch (See the attached handout). Come to see all of your favorite DHE members. Come to make a prototype today with gears and K'NEX. Come to learn how you can take OUR MONEY to make YOUR HUMANITARIAN PROJECT. Come to just say hi!

Directions to MB01: Walk in the MacLean main entrance in Thayer (this is the second building as you are walking from Baker Tower). Turn left and keep walking straight down the stairwell. The door to the room should be on your left after the first flight of stairs. There will be signs to!

See you there,
Spencer Heim '18
President of Dartmouth Humanitarian Engineering
