ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION ORGANIZATION (ECO), 6:30 PM ROBO 108
The Environmental Conservation Organization (ECO) has been around since the 1990s starting with bringing recycling to the dorms. Today the group educates students about sustainability on campus and tackles everyday sustainability challenges at Dartmouth, from reducing plastic use to encouraging energy efficiency. Interested in learning more about how to positively impact the investment portfolio of the College? Want to learn more about the national fossil fuel divestment movement that has taken hold in college campuses across the country? Join us for  our weekly meeting. All are welcome!

Sam Parker will be holding office hours tomorrow in Robo 108. Come to talk about getting involved with Green Groups, susty funding, ENVS major requirements, Harfest, and enjoy some baked goods!

Interested in discussing international environmental issues? Come check out the Dartmouth Council on Climate Change and help plan some awesome events for the term!

DARTMOUTH HUMANITARIAN ENGINEERING, 8-9 PM, Thayer

DHE runs a wide range of technical projects in developing nations, including small-scale hydropower, improved cookstoves, and an initiative aimed at improving access to clean water. We strive to encourage development, improve health, and reduce environmental impact through sustainable, affordable, socially-conscious solutions for communities in need. DARTMOUTH ANIMAL WELFARE GROUP (DAWG), 5-7 PM, Collis 218
The Dartmouth Animal Welfare Group will be hosting a cooking class, "Food For Life" taught by Beth Perera! Beth is certified in Plant Based Nutrition from eCornell, and accepted as an instructor in nutrition by the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine. HARVEST WORK DAY, 8-10 AM, Dartmouth Organic Farm
Join our farm interns to help harvest crops at the Farm! No experience necessary and all are welcome! Rides will leave from behind Robinson Hall at 8 am and will be back to campus for 10 am classes!  Help pick the greens and vegetables that will be used at the Farm Stand in Collis.

Want to get involved in sustainability on campus? Have a random sustainability question? Just want to hang out and eat some yummy baked goods? Visit us for Office hours, every week on Thursdays.

ECOVORES DINNER, 6:30 pm, Sustainable Living Center
Ecovores first dinner will be this Thursday at 6:30 at the Sustainable Living Center! EcoVores is a group focused on preparing, sharing, and exploring sustainable food at Dartmouth and beyond. Come help us plan for the fall and enjoy the delicious bounty of fall produce. Anyone is welcome; bring a bowl, spoon, and ideas.

Join Farm Club and enjoy harvesting fresh vegetables to enjoy on a fresh oven baked pizza! Rides leaving behind Robo at 4 pm and back by 6:30pm!! Vegan, gluten free, vegetarian deliciousness available!!

Apply for a SMS Grant!
Apply for funding from the Sustainable Moving Sale Grant Fund! Funds for the SMS Grants come from the revenue generated each year in the Sustainable Move-In Sale. Applications will be reviewed by Green Groups Directorate and the Office of Sustainability, and winners will be announced in 2 weeks. Application is attached.  Deadline is next Thursday, Oct 16th by midnight and applications can be submitted to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>.

Apply for the Student Energy Task Force
The Student Energy Task Force is a new group on campus which aims to bring together a diverse group of students to address student education and involvement in our energy systems, as well as create a forum for constant re-evaluation of our energy sources and usage. Please complete the application attached by Tuesday, Oct 22nd at 5 PM! Blitz any questions to Sustainable Dartmouth or the Sustainability Office Energy Interns: Jill Horing or Meghan Duff.
