Hey there,

Do you want to learn more about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Have questions & want answers? Join us this Tuesday (tomorrow!) for a dinner discussion about common misconceptions...no prior knowledge/experience necessary!

WHAT: Myth & Facts: Israeli-Palestinian Conflict 101
WHEN: Tuesday (1/31) @ 6:30pm
WHERE: Haldeman 125

There will be Jewel of India, as always.

Also, as you may notice...we are no longer J Street U. In the fall, our board voted unanimously to change our name and amend our mission statement to better reflect the purpose we serve on campus. In other words, we have "gone local." Our new mission statement is as follows:

Coalition for Israel-Palestine (CIP) is a forum for dialogue on peace and conflict in the Middle East, with an emphasis on the protracted hostilities between Palestinian and Israeli actors. CIP supports human rights, mutual self-determination, and an end to the Israeli occupation through a negotiated peace process. While CIP does not endorse a particular solution to the conflict, we provide a space for understanding and exploring potential diplomatic resolutions. CIP welcomes all perspectives and levels of expertise, and offers educational and advocacy opportunities for those seeking to learn more and interact further with the conflict.
