If so, the Society of Biological Sciences (aka BioSoc) is hosting a panel of 3 professors from the Biology Department's Undergraduate Committee who can answer any questions to your heart's content.

Time: 5:30pm
Where: Kemeny 108
Why: Because Biology is cool (and there will be food, too).

Professor Elizabeth Smith, Molecular Biology & Cell Biology, research in complex regulatory cues that modulate ciliary beating, using Chlamydomonas reinhardtii as a model system. 

Professor Rob McClung, Genetics and Molecular Genetics/Biology, research focuses on the basis of endogenous biological clocks, now emphasizing the model plant, Arabidopsis thaliana.

Professor Brad Taylor, Ecology, Aquatic Biology & Environmental Science, research, among other projects, involves developing economic and ecological concepts related to preventing and controlling non-native species, and then working with policy makers to implement these programs to help reduce problems associated with non-native species in terrestrial and aqautic ecosystems.
