Apply to be the 2012-2013 Friendship Family Program intern!

Welcome incoming international students by matching them with local families and organizing events throughout the year.



**APPLICATIONS DUE SUNDAY MAY 13th by 11:59 PM** Please blitz your completed application (see attached) to “International Student Programs” (“ISP”).



Responsibilities include:

* Reaching out to incoming international graduate and undergraduate students to apply for the program.

* Recruiting local families as host families for international students.

* Pairing up individual students with host families based on the different criteria specified in the application forms.

* Organizing a meet and greet for all families and their students in the beginning of the fall term

* Keeping up with both families and students throughout the year through organizing a minimum of one event each term (fall, winter, and spring terms), and managing blitz correspondence

* Administering both student and family surveys, and summarizing results of these surveys in a brief report



Requirements:

* Applicants must be ON CAMPUS for SUMMER and FALL 2012.

* Strong communication and organizational skills desired.

* All students are welcome to apply (you do NOT have to be a former participant or an international student!)
