Want to hear about ways to try backcountry skiing?


Come to the first Winter Sports Club meeting this Wednesday at 8:30 pm in Robo Basement!


The Winter Sports Club is the DOC sub-club that focuses on backcountry skiing and riding. If you haven't heard of it before, backcountry skiing is a type of skiing that involved hiking up a mountain with skis on to get to cool places that you can't get to from ski lifts and then skiing down. Trips are open to those who already know how to ski but do not require previous backcountry ski experience and we can provide necessary gear!


Come to this meeting if you want to:

  *   Hear about future beginner-advanced backcountry skiing trips to places like Cardigan, Moosilauke, Stowe, Nebraska Notch, and Tuckerman's Ravine

  *   Hear about a spring break trip to the Chic Chocs in Quebec, CA

  *   Meet other cool people who love skiing!
