The Dartmouth Center for Health Care Delivery Science and College President Carol Folt are honored to host Dr. Agnes Binagwaho, Minister of Health of the Republic of Rwanda and health care leader throughout the world. Join Al Mulley, director of TDC, as he and Dr. Binagwaho discuss the history and future of global health policy here and abroad.
It is with great pride that Dartmouth welcomes Dr. Binagwaho, whose skill as a clinician, intelligence as a researcher, and success as a leader in health care policy makes her a guiding light in our ever-changing world. Dr. Binagwaho leads one of the world’s most rapidly developing health care systems. Under the leadership of Dr. Binagwaho, Rwanda has seen an increase in insurance coverage for its citizens, a decrease in maternal and infant mortality rates, and a widespread effort to improve diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases. Together with Dr. Binagwaho and the government of Rwanda, Dartmouth has an opportunity to help strengthen and improve many lives.
