*DES Presents

*What

Everyone is invited to attend our first Whiteboarding Session of the term. Whiteboarding sessions are a chance for anyone with a cool idea, technology, or venture to share and expand their concept with all those attending.

*Who

Joshua Schoenbart '16 : The EyeBook

Presenting his venture The EyeBook (www.theeyebook.com<http://www.theeyebook.com>), which was created to provide a valuable service to both eye care professionals and their patients. The primary purpose of this directory is to help eye doctors reach new patients, and to help patients find the perfect eye doctor that can provide quality services for their unique eye care needs.

Dexter Zhuang '13 : Personalized Learning Search Engine

The personalized learning search engine enables students and teachers to discover the best learning resources online quickly and painlessly

Cecilia Shao '16 : Dartmouth Credit Union
As an academic institution with one of the finest graduate business schools and strongest undergraduate economics department, Dartmouth College should start its own student and alumni-run credit union. With only a Bank of America and a few nondescript local banks on campus, a credit union of Dartmouth’s own will bring unprecedented service and convenience to its members on and off campus. Unlike a bank, proceeds are returned to members in the form of better rates and lower fees, which can only add to the quality of life on campus. Furthermore, by offering positions to students in the credit union, those interested in pursuing careers in the financial world can gain indispensable experience that can make them stand out against students coming from other schools, not only through working at the credit union, but also by working alongside prestigious alumni, whose expertise ranges from finance, management, to marketing.
