TOMORROW: Info session on the Spring Break 2018 Energy Immersion Trip to West Virginia and Kentucky!
Thursday, 1/11 @ 8pm in Fairchild 101

Brought to you by The Dartmouth Sustainability Office and the newly launched Irving Institute for Energy and Society. The Spring 2018 trip will run from March 14th - March 24th. Students will visit Montgomery, WV and collaborate with the Morris Creek Watershed Association to look at the impacts of different types of energy infrastructure in the region and explore challenges and opportunities. The trip will also travel to eastern Kentucky to meet with community redevelopment, career re-training, and policy organizations. Stop by tomorrow for more information on the trip and how to apply!

Explore fossil fuel extraction, renewable energy infrastructure, and the complex web of social, cultural, political, and economic factors surrounding energy in this region and in the U.S.
