It's Week 5 and midterms are here. Whether you're a first year student looking for some advice on how to navigate midterm season, or a senior looking for some tips to improve academically, the Academic Skills Center and I have written a short blog post on Surviving Midterm Week<http://sites.dartmouth.edu/learning/2017/10/02/surviving-midterm-week/>. In this post, you'll find helpful advice, including:

Study tips on how to prepare for exams (including STEM and humanities subjects)
Test taking strategies (including how to pace yourself during exams and how to address pre-midterm anxiety)
Advice for handling your first project/paper (including a game plan on how to finish on time without pulling an all nighter)

Exam week can be tough, but if you follow the strategies outlined in our blog post, you'll have the tools you need to succeed!

As always, feel free to reach out to the Academic Skills Center by visiting us during the week (click here for our schedule<https://students.dartmouth.edu/academic-skills/about/office-hours>). Call us at (603) 646-2014, or email us at ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>). If you'd like to check out some of our other blog posts, feel free to visit our Academic Skills Center Blog<http://sites.dartmouth.edu/learning/> <http://sites.dartmouth.edu/learning/resources/> by clicking on the link.

Best of luck and have a great week!
