La Alianza Latina
invites you all to a (*** free***) cooking lesson with Guatemalan community member Eulalia Lopez, followed by a community potluck dinner and discussion with this awesome guest (and her husband Enrique) who lived through the Guatemalan Civil War and migrated to the Upper Valley!
When? May 4th, the Saturday of First Year Family Weekend!
Cooking Lesson starts @ 4:30 p.m. at C&G Kitchen
Community Potluck starts @ 6:30 p.m. at C&G Dining Hall
There's 3 ways to participate in this event:
1. Make a traditional dish from your country (or any country really), (DO THIS, EVERYONE WILL LOVE TO TRY YOUR FOOD!)
2. Don't make a dish, but come learn to make Guatemalan food with Eulalia @ 4:30 p.m.!
3. Don't feel like cooking at all? No problem!!! just join us for dinner @ 6:30 p.m.!
We just ask that you RSVP with what you will be doing by this Wednesday, so we know how much money we need to spend!
P.S. If your parents are in town, they are super welcome to join!
