Meir Kohn, Professor of Economics at Dartmouth, presents:

"How I became a libertarian"

Professor Kohn will talk about his journey from active socialist to libertarian.  
He will discuss how his experience of socialism in Israel, his study of financial  
regulation, and his research into the causes of economic prosperity have shaped  
his political philosophy.

Professor Kohn teaches Economics 26, "The economics of financial intermediaries  
and markets" and is currently working on a book, "How and Why Economies Develop  
and Grow: Lessons from Preindustrial Europe and China."
