You are invited to an evening dinner and discussion on women's human rights in the US and globally with Amnesty International USA's (AIUSA) women's rights program.

Wednesday 2nd October

6PM at KDE

See you there!

The AIUSA women's program champions the rights of women and the LGBTI community while holding governments, armed groups and other non-state actors accountable for ending discrimination and inequality.

Julia Drost, the AIUSA women's program policy and advocacy associate based in Washington DC will be leading a discussion on current threats to women's rights across the world. In particular, Julia will highlight two current campaigns to take action on: ending the global epidemic of violence against women and girls, and protecting the gains made by Afghan women for their human rights.
