^^^Hi Kevin!

What??? is going on?

Cabin and Trail has reclaimed management of the cabins rental business! This means that there is now a paid, full-time, off-term student position of DOC CABINS MANAGER!

Why??? should I want to do this?

This is a unique opportunity as an undergrad to gain experience running a business, working in outdoor recreation, and managing the land and cabins we steward. (Not many people will let an 18 year old run a business and manage nine cabins!) Side perks include free cabin rentals moving forward and a free Lodge pass for the season!

What??? does the job entail?

As Cabins Manager, you would be responsible for:

• Managing reservations using the new online ResNexus systems and communicating with renters

• Carrying out routine maintenance and resupplies

• Coordinating student work trips

• Identifying larger cabins improvements and projects

• Working with OPO and Summer Trail Crew Directors to manage projects

What??? are the necessary qualifications?

In order to be considered for this position, an applicant:

• Must be an active leader or heeler in CnT

• Must have a DOC driver certification or be willing and able to get certified

• Must be able to dedicate 30-40 hours per week to the job (so you must be on an off-term!!!)

Preferred but definitely!!! not required:

• (19X) First year student preferred!

• Experience with maintenance tasks including the use of hand and power tools is preferred but not required!

• Availability during the break preceding term as Manager is greatly appreciated!

How??? do I apply?

Send your resume and cover letter to [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>! And blitz us with questions!

Deadline for 19S Cabins Manager: Feb 4 at midnight!

Deadline for 19X Cabins Manager: Feb 11 at midnight!
