Ah, November. 'Tis the season for midterms and papers, for sleet and grey skies. As the erstwhile poet, Thomas Hood, once said,


No sun - no moon!
No morn - no noon -
No dawn - no dusk - no proper time of day.
No warmth, no cheerfulness, no healthful ease,
No comfortable feel in any member -
No shade, no shine, no butterflies, no bees,
No fruits, no flowers, no leaves, no birds! -
November!


Yes, there may be none of those things, but there still is Cabin and Trail. The mountains are just coming under their first falls of snow, and it's beautiful up there-so escape for a bit.


Also, it's warm in Robinson basement, so that's a plus too.
