To sign up for a​ny trip, blitz the leader of that trip with your DA$H number (make sure you have money in your account) or saying you'd like to pay in cash. Please also send any dietary restrictions.  Your spot will be reserved once you pay.  If the trip is free, just blitz the leader to reserve a spot.​ Financial aid is available for DOC members if the trip costs more than $10. If you are not a DOC member, you can become one by visiting Robinson Hall 119 to sign up.​​

What: The Feed

When: 7 PM

Why: Come hang out and eat a homemade meal!

It's all going down Friday from 2pm-5pm.

Fire tower + nature + art + snacks=AN AWESOME TIME. Feel free to bring your own supplies, but we will have colored pencils, markers, and watercolors as well as the great outdoors around us!

What: Hanging Out By and In the River (+ Apartments)

We'll go on a walk along the Connecticut River on the Norwich side, take a really cold *short* swim, and then go to Caroline's apartment and make awesome food probably involving chocolate and pumpkins and other amazing fall things

When: Saturday 2:00-5:00pm aka just after you've woken up

Why: Do you like fun? Do you want to see a well-decorated River apartment and an even more beautiful Connecticut River?

What: hike in search of righteousness up Cannon Mountain

When: 8AM to 4PM

Why: to discover the wonders of nature locally

What: The world’s most epically chill heeler overnight ever

When: 6pm on Saturday to 10am on Sunday

Why: Why you ask? Well let me tell you, this night is going to be chalk full of fun bonding and nonbonding experiences such as star gazing, playing cards against humanity, listening to Brad play the guitar (might have to be an air guitar), and shadow puppetry. There will also be canoeing AND BREAKFAST (also dinner but breakfast is so important). The night can be whatever you make of it- the world is your oyster!

What: Hexacuba Tworking (Trailwork)

When: Depart 9 am, back before 6

Why: Trailwork is fun and a heeler requirement. Help maintain the privy for thru-hikers!

What: Raise the Roof

When: 8am-5pm

Why: We will literally raise the roof onto a cabin near Moosilauke Lodge! This trip will fulfill the heeler trail work requirement and do so in style (lodge dinner?...). Furthermore, the weather forecast looks good and the fall colors are going to be splendiferous.

What: Harris (Highlighting) Homework Party!!

When: 7:30 PM on Sunday until 8:30 AM on Monday

Why: Because Homecoming is over, but that doesn't mean the fun is! The Harris Homework Experience will create a chill but productive study environment for those of us that need a break from the facetime of first floor Berry. Harris is equipped with gas lamps, a full kitchen, a beautiful fire place, and great study couches and tables. It is inevitably more fun than the stacks. We will provide you with gourmet snacks and breakfast and great company as well. What better way to end your big weekend?

What: Mount Hancock- a mountain as big as his signature!

When: 8 to 8

Why: Two 4,000 footers in one 10 mile semi-loop hike in the White Mountains! The route looks like a lollipop. A moderate hike overall but a righteous steep grunt up near the summits.

Leaders: Joby Bernstein and Timothy Messen (apprentice leader)

What: Mount Carrigain Hike!

When: Sunday 8am-7pm

Why: It's going to me an amazing 10 mile hike up Mt. Carrigain in the Whites. Tons of cool boreal forest stuff and there's a fire tower at the summit with fantastic 360 degree views because Mt. Carrigain is right in the MIDDLE of the Whites. You have so much to carriGAIN by going on this hike!

THE FUTURE THE FUTURE THE FUTURE​



What: Cabin and Trail Winterbreak Trip to UTAH!!!



When: December 3-10



Why: Because going hiking in the desert is the coolest thing you could possibly be doing in December.



Leaders: Blitz Adam Schneider and Jalen Benson for more information. Applications have been blitzed to campus.



Cost: $165 for the trip plus $150 for airfare. Additional financial aid is available. This trip is heavily subsidized.
