Times are dark

the winter grows colder

Even Kevin Donohue

gave me the cold shoulder


Trapped in our dorms

we sit here and wait

craving some pasta

to fill a bowl or plate


But then you see it

a light in the distance

your noble feed cooks

providing some assistance


While we've all been glum

they stood and took action

Cooking a feed

much to our satisfaction


There's fancy egg pasta

cooked to perfection

smothered in sauce

of a beautiful selection


What a sauce!

Garlic, basil, tomato, oh my!

Paired with a pear tomato salad

You just have to try


And we'll finish our feast

with an old english treat

crunchy homemade toffee

topped with chocolate so sweet


So friends take note!

For when the clock strikes  seven

We'll meet at the Rock

for a little slice of heaven


Of wait, did I not mention

the most exquisite kind of news
