Hello everyone,

I am looking for information on roasting/toasting/baking dates prior to
their storage. I have observed this very often in Egypt, and I am sure it
also occurs in other areas of the Mediterranean and the Near East.

Any personal observations or published references would be most appreciated.

Regards,

Menna
