This is a revised resend of my original. They have stated that they do not intend to offer any compatibility fixes. Apple has no say in the matter. Your only option is to choose another word processor, such as WordPerfect (which is now discontinued though free at http://www.corel.com ), AppleWorks (formerly ClarisWorks; an under-rated program, in my opinion), or Nisus (although Nisus 5.1.3, CLK 2.0, and MacOS 8.6 don't play nice together). You could try going to these sites and see if they give you any leads: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/features/ime.asp http://www.chinesecomputing.com HTH Jeffrey ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? Jeffrey J.
