>Subject: Using Non-Western Fonts in WYSIWYGs

I'm sending this message on behalf of myself and my colleagues at
Haverford, Bryn Mawr and Swarthmore Colleges.

If you're having trouble using non-western fonts (Chinese, Japanese,
Korean, Hebrew, Russian, Greek, etc.) in web pages, it may be because your
WYSIWYG web page editor is molesting your text. Robert Smitheram of
the Center for Educational Technology at Middlebury College led us to the
solution:  the <!--noedit--> tag.

To learn more, please visit:

to see a presentation and documentation about how we helped our faculty
solve these problems.
