Roald Dahl’s Matilda the Musical

Date: Wednesday, November 14 – Thursday, January 1, 2019 (various times)

Cost: $19 per ticket for students; $34 per ticket for adults

This Tony Award-winning musical follows the struggles of Matilda against her neglectful parents and cruel headmistress. An avid reader and brilliant young girl, Matilda dreams of a better life and a happy home. With the help of her kind teacher Miss Honey, the other students in her class, and a touch of magic, Matilda takes a stand against the evil forces in her life. The addictively raucous score propels this heartwarming story of empowerment.

An Evening with Swing Noire

Date: Friday, November 30, 7:30pm – 9:30pm


Location: 2095 Pomfret Road, South Pomfret, VT 05067


Cost: $20 per ticket

Vermont’s hottest acoustic, Hot Club style quartet, Swing Noire makes music that “will entrance and surprise you.” If you haven’t heard this music (especially live) you are in for a treat. Great energy, soul, sophistication, and improvisation are the hallmarks of a Swing Noire performance. Swing Noire plays Gypsy Jazz in the tradition of Django Reinhardt & The Quintet of the Hot Club of France. Some call it Gypsy Jazz, some Hot Swing, in either case it is acoustic music in the spirit of Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli. Swing Noire invokes the energy of a swingin’ jazz club, transporting audiences back to the early days of jazz with their unique take on Hot Swing. Vermont’s hottest acoustic, Hot Club style quartet, Swing Noire makes music that “will entrance and surprise you.” If you haven’t heard this music (especially live) you are in for a treat. Opening Reception for Small Works

Join us Friday evening at 5:30pm for the Opening Reception of the Small Works Exhibit at the ArtisTree Gallery. SMALL WORKS: An exhibit of small works presented for sale during the holiday season. All 2D pieces are 144 sq inches (12 in. x 12 in., for instance) or less  All 3D submissions fit within a 10" x 10" x 10" imaginary box. Come see all this wonderful Small Works of Art! Included is our "mini exhibit", a wall of 50 panels measuring 50 sq inches each created by local artists! - 50@ 50!

Cost: $50 per person

Channel your inner artisan and learn hands on how to take molten glass and make it into something beautiful! Each participant will take home their own handmade glass ornament or paperweight.
