Hi
My wife Helen was looking out the kitchen window, and spotted movement
under a large spruce. She thought it was a R. Grouse, which I confirmed. It
was in a dirt depression, rolling on it's sides, fanning it's tail and
puffing out the sacs on its breast. Actually, I just checked, and it's
still there, 20 minutes later. It occurred to me that it might be
exhibiting 'anting' behavior. Is this possible? Has anyone else observed
this?
