To continue with Blake's snow bunting theme, today there were about 75 snow buntings on Rte. 25 in the large fields of Benton Flats.  Easily observed from the road.  Interestingly, there are also about 200 robins that are spread out widely across the fields and foraging in the frozen dirt.  I'm not sure how they do it, but I have a short video clip of a robin listening then digging up what appears to be a grub.
