Subject: Update: Teaching Science Fellows Program/Post-Grad Opportunities in 2018-19

Looking for an exciting post-graduate gap year opportunity in Biology, Chemistry or Computer Science in Hanover?

Are you interested in incorporating teaching into your future career?

Would you like to pass on the science skills you have accumulated  to other Dartmouth students?

The Teaching Science Fellows Program at Dartmouth in 2018-19

The Teaching Science Fellows partner with the faculty of introductory biology, chemistry and computer science classes to make them more accessible to all students, regardless of science background. We encourage and provide interactive learning opportunities not only in the study of the sciences, but also aid in general learning skills. Fellows are recent Dartmouth graduates familiar not only with the most challenging aspects of these courses, but also with overall student experiences and the college’s support systems.

I am now pleased to report that we have secured permanent funding for this program from the College to support this valuable educational activity and provide our Fellows with a substantive experience in teaching and in support of Dartmouth students.   If you are potentially interested in one of these positions, please let me know now, so I can add your name to a mailing list to keep you up-to-date about an application process that will begin in January.  ([log in to unmask])

If you would like to find out more about the positions , please contact  the current fellows,  Joe Minichiello, Biology ([log in to unmask])  and Isabella Caruso, Chemistry ([log in to unmask]).
