I have had NO birds for a couple of months at my sunflower seed feeder - no Chickadees, no Finches, no Titmice, nothing.  Very unusual.  I was wondering if an Owl has set up residence - have heard one nearby at night.

So….  I, in the last 6 weeks, have filled my tube bird feeder twice, and its half full as I write.     (though I am saving $ on birdseed)

My suet (homemade) seems to get eaten every few days.     2 cups of ground feed/ day.

1 Am. Tree Sparrow so far,   1 White-thr. Sparrow (yest).    Couple of Chickadees, handful of TuTi’s.  DoWo.

So wut’s up ????

My guess:  something to do with the warm October….and all oiseaux skipped over VT en route to CT or MD ??

Quietly waiting for my  pals to show up.
