This morning at 8:00 am Eastern Bluebirds were singing in the field on the Windsor former prison property near the red pump house on Marton Road. A new American Kestrel nest box has been installed in the field near the existing Kestrel nest bo next to the utility pole. The new box is better in height and design and construction. What to do with the existing nest box? I don't think they are far enough apart for both to function. I don't know who installed the new box, but they should be thanked. Michael.
