Yesterday evening on Runnemede, I saw 5 ducks all staying pretty close together. One was white with a black patch on the side of his face and some black along the back and maybe upper wings. 3 were rather plain looking brown with a white patch on the side of their faces, one looked like a lone (probably Lesser) female Scaup. I'm not 100% sure of the ID, but I think the 4 were Long-tailed ducks. They were in the middle of the big pond with best viewing from the gazebo, but still pretty far away - too far to see the bill of the male in the dim lighting. Maybe still there today?
