The Institut français d'archéologie orientale and Polish Centre of Mediterranean Archaeology Research Center in Cairo are organising an international conference on food and drink in Egypt and Sudan throughout history, focusing on the continuity and innovations that have occurred at times of change. The conference is scheduled for March 21-23, 2018, and the deadline for abstract submittal is December 15th, 2017.
