Same here on New Boston Road in Thetford, though I did hear a WhBreasted Nuthatch and a chickadee this morning in the cooler temps.

I live up here on Hurricane Hill and for 27 years I have always had a huge population of birds who frequent my feeders...many varieties. There was a noticeable decrease after Irene but I still had healthy numbers. But over the past 2 weeks I have had virtually NO birds....a few woodpeckers are visiting the suet, but not much more. I used to have 20+ mourning doves and even they are gone. I have had sharp-shinned hawks around, but they have always been prevalent. Anyone else experiencing this?...any ideas as to why this may have occurred?
