Dear Dartmouth Community members:

The annual Vermont State Science, Technology, Engineering, and
Mathematics fair, being held Saturday, 4/1/17 from 8AM to noon at
Norwich University in Northfield, VT, is in dire need of volunteer
judges. Judges spend about 15 minutes with each of the ~10 projects
assigned to them, discussing the hypothesis, experimental design,
results, and conclusions with the students. The emphasis is on
providing the students with an opportunity to discuss their work, and to
provide encouragement as well as some constructive criticism. It's very
inspiring to see how enthusiastic the students are about their projects
and how much they have accomplished as independent thinkers, questioners,
and experimenters and the students greatly appreciate the opportunity to
talk about their work. This is also a terrific opportunity to give back
to the taxpayers and get some visibility for Dartmouth students, faculty
and programs.

Thanks for any help you can give!
