I couldn't scare up a Gray Catbird or Orange-crowned Warbler at Runnemede this morning, but having 7 Fox Sparrows in my binocular viewshed at once was a sight I'll long remember. One was actually singing. Other highlights included: Northern Flicker 1 called several times Eastern Bluebird 1 singing American Tree Sparrow 23 Dark-eyed Junco (Slate-colored) 22 White-throated Sparrow 2 Savannah Sparrow 2 Song Sparrow 10 Northern Cardinal 5 View this checklist online at http://ebird.org/ebird/view/ checklist/S32418765 Nice morning to be out. Only 2 Canada Geese on the water.
