Nice, Bill. This is a good time of fall to go up Gile Mountain Fire Tower
and look north after the passage of a cold front: red-shoulders, red-tails,
Coopers, goshawks, and maybe, maybe a golden eagle(I had one in 1978). Not
big numbers of raptors, but a few these late-autumn birds make the trek
worthwhile.
