The Dartmouth Biomedical Libraries are pleased to host a grant writer's retreat from December 12 to 13, 2016 at the Matthews-Fuller Health Sciences Library at DHMC.

This two-day retreat is intended for researchers in the process of writing an NIH Research Project Grant (R01). It will include structured programming in a small-group setting along with protected time for participants to focus on writing their grant. It is expected that participants attend both days of the retreat.

Participants will receive the following:

  *   Seminar on strategies for successful proposal writing
  *   Group feedback on Specific Aims section
  *   Individual feedback from a grant writing specialist
  *   Seminar on complying with NIH Public-Access Policy
  *   Protected writing time
