A flock of 12 or more wild turkeys leisurely crossed Rte. 10 between Hanover and West Lebanon at about 5 pm yesterday, stopping traffic for several minutes. A wonderful sight!

A flock of fifteen was unexpectedly seen around 2:00 p.m. near the house. They, sensing my presence, gradually retreated into the woods.

There appeared, due to size, to be a few "this year's" birds, but the majority were adults.
