Hiked up Putney Mtn this am (after not finding the FtFl). Took a chair and lunch. May have been 10 birders there when I left at 1:30. All hawk watching. Yesterday they had 1800 Broad-wings. Added 60 today...new year record, and the season is not over. Had about a 100 birds today.. 2 Osprey 2 Red-tails 1 No Goshawk 1 Coopers ~ 12 Sharpies...one attacked the dummy owl near the chairs. 2 Am Kestrels 3 Bald Eagles Great spot..some very dedicated volunteers. They are there every day into November. BiSh (did stop for a Great Egret at Allen Marsh, Westminster, and no FtFl in Leb en route home) To post messages, send e-mail to: [log in to unmask] Set your e-mail application to PLAIN TEXT ONLY to post messages.
