Dartmouth SYNERGY and the Informatics Collaboratory for Design, Development, and Dissemination (ic3d) - REDCap Service for Researchers:  REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) is a secure web application for building and managing healthcare databases and online surveys. Dartmouth’s CPHS (IRB) endorses use of REDCap as a HIPAA-compliant safe-harbor application for storing Protected Health Information (PHI). Users may request REDCap access via SYNERGY’s INSPIRE (go to SYNERGY's Biomedical Informatics Core page;  click on Request Help), or Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s Service Management system. REDCap was built by Vanderbilt as a CTSA tool and provides an excellent library of how-to videosResearchers can receive REDCap orientation and assistance from the Biomedical Informatics Core on a walk-in basis, Mondays in the Williamson Building, Room 325 from 11AM-1PM.

Biostatistics Consulting Clinic and GeoSpatial Consulting
The SYNERGY/NCCC Biostatistics Consultation Core offers a walk-in Biostatistics Consulting Clinic for researchers on Tuesdays and Fridays, 9 am-12 noon, in the Biostatistics Consulting office, Department of Data Science, 3rd floor, Room 325, Williamson Translational Research Building at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. The SYNERGY/NCCC Biostatistics Consultation Core also offers GeoSpatial Consulting for researchers. The GeoSpatial Resource supports the design and implementation of geospatial research including geocoding, travel time, census data, density and proximity calculations, small area analysis, and spatial autocorrelation, among other topics.
