A lovely evening near Pompy Flats. Saw a small group of nighthawks flying south (app. 25-30). A wonderful juvenile Great Blue Heron came in for a landing directly in front of me then decided against it.

Many Mallards on the water, I think a Pintail or two, nice flock of wild turkeys and, of course, plenty of Canada Geese.
